So it has been a while but we have been hard at work on the shop!

We want to thank you all for supporting PTNC and the true skateboarding of Goteborg. Also, we want to let you know about the new things happening with, in, and around, PTNC shop.


First of all, we have (for the first time in PTNC) Adidas Skateboarding coming in with a few drops for Jan.09...

The Businitz Superstar (shell toe), that has been trimmed down and tweeked to Mr. 'Booz-n-tits' specifications...
The Campus Vulc (that you might have seen me skating in, sorry no photos)....

The Gazelle that you might have seen me holding on the Bellows site....

Next up to come into the shop this month will be the Nike Sb Spring 09 Collection...

Designer Michael Leon is now working for them in the apparel department, check this out and see what he has up his sleeves…

MADISON IS COMING!

With the launch of the new and improved distribution website and the recent pre-release with the sponsorship of this years edition of the annual Lucia Classics contest, it is about time we officially announce our latest business venture.

Madison Skateboard Company known as Madison Skateboards has been a project in making for the past 6 months, and now with perfected strategic company plan and an amazing team we felt it's time to announce the company to the world.

Madison Skateboards is going to bring a fresh breeze to the numerous great board companies based in Sweden, with a new approach on how to run a skateboard company. We take great pride in saying companies like Bellows Skateboards, Sweet Skateboards, Semester Skateboards, AtAt Skateboards, Presens Skateboards are all based and operated in Sweden and we look forward to working alongside with them and the rest of the Swedish board companies in establishing Sweden on the world wide map.

The team has been hand picked over the past months and we are proud to introduce Simon "Slomo" Andersson, Oskar Wennberg, Henrik "Bling" Svan and Anton Aggeklint as the initial members. They are all amazing skateboarders and their great personalities and they will all help Madison to be become the unity we always intended. Each team member is further introduced later in this press release.

We are currently working on a few interesting product collaboration designs with friends from around the globe to help Madison Skateboards reach the place in the market we aim for.

The first series of boards will be available in Swedish shops along selected stores around the globe in early spring 2009. We are going to officially release images of the product in January 2009 as product samples and graphics have been perfected and are ready for the public to embrace.

Simon "Slomo" Andersson has since a few weeks re-located to Barcelona, Spain to get away from the shitty Swedish winter weather, where he is currently busy shooting photos for upcoming interviews alongside filming for a Madison video project in the making and the Streetlab video. Slomo was recently nominated as rookie of the year in the Swedish Skateboard Awards (Svenska Skateboardgalan) where the winner will be made official at the ceremonies on December 13 in Stockholm, Sweden. His other sponsors include: DVS Shoe Company, Alphanumeric Brand Sweden, Force Skateboard Trucks Sweden, Fillmore Wheels Sweden, Diamond Supply Co. Sweden, New Era Hats and Streetlab Skate shop in Malmö.

Oskar Wennberg was the first rider to be asked about joining Madison and he has been a part of the development ever since. He is currently stuck in Sweden skating overcrowded skateparks when not working. His company involvement also include his girlfriend Johanna Östergren (www.artbook.se) who is responsible for creating the Madison logo. With a full feature in the works for a coming issue of Swedish Giftorm Magazine Oskar takes ever opportunity he get to get his final photos alongside filming for the Streetlab video and a Madison video project. Oskar's other sponsors include: Nike SB Flow, Alphanumeric Brand Sweden, Ace Truck Mfg Sweden, Fillmore Wheels Sweden, Diamond Supply Co. Sweden and Streetlab Skate shop in Malmö.

Anton Aggeklint has, since moving back from Oslo, Norway been a part of the family and always felt like a natural Madison team member. He's non traditional approach to skateboarding in Sweden make him a great addition to any team. Although quite unknown in Sweden he has been around for a long time and has time after time proven himself on the battle ground. While currently awaiting the new year when he plan to seek warmer weather he can be found occasionally at Stockholm Skatepark or with a game of Yatzy in progress. Anton’s other sponsors include: In4mation Brand Sweden, Ace Truck Mfg Sweden, Fillmore Wheels Sweden and Diamond Supply Co. Sweden.

Henrik "Bling" Svan is one of Swedens best kept secrets and we are proud to have him as a part of the Madison family. He was recently in Barcelona, Spain to finish a couple of upcoming projects together with Jonas Mossberg and is now back in Göteborg. When not skateing the rough spots around Göteborg Bling can be find working at premiere sneaker and street wear store Shelta at Andra Långgatan or talking shop down the street at Jake Lewis’s PTNC Shop.
